If you use religion to deny equality to all, how is that not a religion of hate?

  • This video is rubbish

  • i agree...don't let atheists get married either! Prop 9 in 2010 people!

  • Again I say, it is not an attack on individuals. I don't hate gay people. I have some friends that are and I don't hold it against them. I am more than just tolerant of them... they are my friends. Now that being said... I have to disagree with you, I think marriage is sacred. Maybe we are going to have to agree to disagree. Our beliefs are obviously different on the nature and probably origin of marriage. I believe that God is the author or marriage, and it is up to him to redefine it.

  • Marriage is not sacred, love is. Jesus' mom was married to this guy, but she was magically impregnated by God? There is a reason why it is "The Greatest Story Ever Told." It's a frickin' soap opera written by hundreds of different authors.

I think Gandhi, a real person, said it best-"I like your Christ. I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ." Vote No on H8!

  • Prop 8 is is not an attack on individuals. It is only defending an institution that was started by God between Adam and Eve. Its foolish to say that Jesus would contradict his Father in Heaven.

I think that we should not try to redefine or change something that is sacred and has been decreed as between man and women by God.

  • You're awesome. Actually, there are a lot of churches that are against Proposition 8-- they listed their names in a newspaper ad (that I can't find right now...)

Denying gay people the right to marry is basically saying "you're different, so you can't have the same rights I can." Wasn't that the kind of propaganda used against Jews during the Holocaust, and black people during the pre-Civil Rights Movement?

    NO ON PROP 8!
