When a few months ago I made a quick remix of Gee because I wanted to see how it would look in a more clubby style I could never imagine that by now I would have done all these remixes and that I would have many loyal subscribers. As the view counts and the encouragment from you guys grew up so it did the effort and the techniques I was using on my remixes to come. I really appriciate every single comment and rating - in many cases I don't answer because I'm out of words. It's a bit strange though sometimes I get some 1-star ratings - please don't hate me!

So here is another remix, which is my Christmas present to you and it's deticated to all of you. I'll be off to Korea in a few days and won't be coming back till middle January so no new remixes till then. I hope though this one will fill in your days. And of course there are also many other good remixers out there (that you probably already know) who we might be working together from the new year to produce some smashing remixes for you guys~

That said u-kiss although a boys group I liked this song from day one because their style is awesome without looking too soft which is the case many times with some other boy groups. Don't get me wrong; what I mean is that although they sing an emotional song they still look strong and manly unlike some other groups that fail badly at expressing this idea and end up looking like crybabies.

The lyrics of this song are always current because they talk about a very usual situation - when a boy is disappointed from a girl. The reality behind this of course is that boy is too jealous and tries to gain confidence by convincing himself that his girl is a sly fox. Usually it's the boy's mistake for either not being confident enough to take care of the girl or either simply by not being able to properly appreciate the situation and just being the wolf himself, eating the fox and shut the f up. Still I love the lyrics and the way they are sung. Generally when I listen to this song I feel pleasant.

I have started my attempts on remixing this track a while ago spending a few hours here and there trying to get it right. I've ended up having too many instruments and many different possible versions. The thing with this track is that the original has an electro/minimal style to it anyways. So if i would go with an electro house/trance style it would sound really good (and it did) but it would be extremelly close to the original. What I'm trying to do with my remixes is giving the original songs a new dimension to be looked at from. So what I did (twice) was to wipe out everything and start from scratch. The last time I did that it kind of paid off as you can hear. Although this trance style is lately a bit outdated by modern minimal/electro/techno, it's still current and I can totally imagine this track bouncing at some club somewhere in central Europe.

Onto the technical details, one new important technique is added this time and it's an indivitual parallel delay channel. You can hear it all over the song in places such as 0:07, 0:36, 0:49, 1:05, 1:26 and so on. What's happening here is that while the main vocal track keeps playing on you can hear another diffused voice in the background filling in empty points and helping the track generally sound more interesting and trancy. For example in 0:49 the main vocal raises into higher frequencies and the diffused vocals hide into the lower frequencies topped with a gated effect. People into audio production can appriciate that having this amount of indivitual control on heavily effected sounds is a much more complicated case than everyday butter and bread (aka the delay effect) since there has to be a long chain of effects each with their own settings and automation spread over a good amount of channels.
