Leo Parente recaps the racing that mattered the last weekend in March, 2012. But, Leo teases his A-D-D viewers for the entire show seeing if they'll wait around for the BIG rumor about SRT Viper racing, that may or may not come true at the NY Auto Show. It's all in Leo's mind, but he quotes logic to convince you he's making sense. Really?

I feel like Leo had a hard time with this read. Pausing in awkward spots like he had to read ahead a bit. Not sure if he wrote his own dialogue this time around. Felt like he was reading someone else's version of his self.

I'm an American, and a racing enthusiast, who is desperately trying to find a place to watch Formula 1 races online. I don’t have, or want, cable television, so I have been unable to follow F1 since I moved out of my parent’s house 10 years ago. Do you know of any place online I can watch the Races (preferably with commentary)? Recorded events that I can watch on my own terms would be preferable over streams, as I have a life. Also, I am willing to pay a small subscription fee to get my F1 fix.

Leo's presentation style is all about pace and wit. I think Shakedown would work best as vignettes, imo, plus Drive can figure out what people are interested in by diversifying the episodes.

Racing is a dying, decrepit industry, bargaining for another decade of life before it is finally euthanized or turned into reality TV. Lack of Shakedown views has little to do with Leo and everything to do with the jokers who sanction. The technical regulations have never been worse.

If they are pulling in top gear, only top gear than 2 things you need to add. The RPM - the higher the top speed is larger (obvious) and aerodynamics, more drag = less top speed. And if you say that in this is touring racing not f1, i will add YES! but still you need a slik car to achive high top speeds, so no mather what it does affect your top speed.

thanks for that, but it means nothing when they're all in top gear, and the honda is still pulling away, unless ofcourse theyre running different ratios.
