The thing about Minardi, is that they always built cars that worked. They never did this by having loads of complicated aero gadgets and electronics, but through simplicity. And this is the effect. A well balanced car, as you see in this video. No understeer, no oversteer. Makes you think if they ever had a more powerful engine they could be much more succesful.

good driving by Marc! 1999 Minardi really wasnt bad, they outqualified Arrows in many races and Marc scored well deserved point at the European GP.

very nice lap, would like to see Badoer's fastest qualifying lap from this session as he was even faster than Gene after what looked like a near perfect lap by Marc here! Forza Luca!

@mazey90 This lap was a 1:55.426 for Marc, he eventually improved to 1:54.557. Luca Badoer's fastest qualifying lap was a 1:54.197.
