Hello, I am sorry you had this problem! We have not tried this technique with the Xyron machine, so are not sure what the results would be. It certainly is worth a try. Good Luck!

Hi, is it possible to use a xyron machine to make this. When I used sticker paper, I did the first layer fine but when I tried to remove the lace the sticky stuff came off with the lace. Have you any ideas on what I can do or use. Cant wait to try this as it is my sons partners 21st and this would make a lovely card for her.

@grubby7911 Hello, It looks messy but the sticker paper is a very aggressive adhesive and the glitter really sticks to the adhesive. The coffee filter will "catch" the excess glitter. It is one terrific technique. We hope you will try it!
