Wildlife Reserves Singapore recently acquired several giant catfish from the only captive breeder in Thailand. The Mekong giant catfish is a protected animal and is currently listed as Critically Endangered.

It was a long and difficult journey but the Mekong giant catfish were successfully transported safely to its new residence in the upcoming River Safari.

  • @MrAlvinSinfulSong Yes but realise that these safari's/zoo's rely on customer revenue, the average person sees a shark and say "ye, thats a shark" whereas you see a catfish which is as big as a shark and you say wow
