people should ditch the ppm, and stick with EC/CF, the 500 - 700 confuses people.

@35THIRTYFIVE I would have to say that ppm's can not be used as a referance from one garden to the next, I use ppm's just as a referance in my garden to know if the plants are healthy (if ppm's go up throughout the wk then there is a problem, if they drop to nothing its healthy) I mix my nutrient solution extremely low.... Sensi base calls for 16ml/gal at full strength and I use 5-6ml/gal at most; addatives call for 8ml/gal and I use them at 4, 6, 8, and 10ml/gal depending on what when and why!!
