And wasn't it also mentioned that Manaketes can't transform without a Dragonstone? Ninian was near hers when she transformed. We don't know what happened with Sophia's. Adding to that, didn't Sophia receive tutelage in the art of elder magic? Maybe from Athos? (He does know how to use the spells.) As far as sensing and foresight goes, it was explained by Nils that Ninian was a seer in the dragon world. As such, Ninian's abilities would be more fine-tuned to sensing and foresight.

@snigalflagen Actually, Roy would be a quarter dragon, considering the fact Ninian's a half-dragon herself.

They used the word "Divine" in Shadow Dragon because of the fact that Tiki's a Divine Dragon, as is Nagi. There's another Divine Dragon in Shadow Dragon, but that revelation isn't revealed until Mystery of the Emblem. But said Divine Dragon was stripped of his powers somehow, and was forced to adapt his abilities to mimicking other humans around him.

Yes, making Roy half-dragon. Of course, depending on how you played FE7, Fiora or Lyn could be Roy's mom, but still.
