"An adventure in brown-water rafting". Six twentysomethings build a raft out of tent poles and oil drums and float at a leisurely pace down the Connecticut River in Western Massachusetts. Along the way they are transformed into fortysomethings, play music, drink beer, encounter friends and environmental police, and find themselves closer to each other and closer to the intangible joys of living, breathing, wood, water, and song. A celebration of life on Earth, Huck Finn-style.
