  • one thing about rain in chicago when taking off it starts to be bumpy but with southwest it is unexpected with their take off it catches you off guard but when they make that turn to take off the full force and the speed are like wtf but It is a great video but scary you guys have guts

  • @dcottp2007 yeah, the whole way to the runway was pretty bumpy. i'm usually not afraid of take offs but this one threw me off and i had goosebumps the entire time. lol

  • it was raining that day and mostly all the southwest airlines i went on, usually do a take off like this one in the video. I love flying but, all the time.... taking off makes me have this weird feeling in my stomach and i keep thinking...OH MY GOD...that could've been the last time i could be alive on the ground.

  • is somebody afraid of flying? lol

  • lol i wasn't expecting it when they took off.

  • Would you reccommend to me Southwest?

  • yeah. i usually go on USA 3000 from florida to chicago but at that point i lived in north carolina and neither airports (Raleigh and Charlotte had USA 3000)

  • @CaptainZ1627 Don't forget push back and engine start.

  • I prefer O'Hare!!!

  • Southwest is a road runer!

  • awww poor girl :( lol

  • lmoa @ holy f*&k

  • @oldmixedtapess if you think that one caught you off guard, you should've been on the Southwest flight we took from Philly to Tampa, the takeoff was even steeper than this one. Chicago Midway has very short runways for jets like this one (the 737-700) and bigger, and that's why he put the throttle up while turning onto the runway because he had to get it off ASAP and he got it off real quick and that's probably part of the reason why you got caught off guard

  • The few times that I've been to Chicago, I've always flown in/out of O'Hare (my mom's side of the family lives on the north side)

  • Rain is ok, Thunderstorms scare the F'in Sh**t out of me, and snow is ok too, but ice is just as bad as thunderstorms. Never taken off from Midway while it's raining though. Last year, I landed during a thunderstorm at Boston Logan on Virgin America, and it was so scary it was the first time in 30 years of flying that I actually prayed during the descent. LOL....even seasoned flyers get nervous too.

  • i dont scare the flights no reason to scare everyboy will die from something eh maybe it was plane maybe car accident never know ;p
