his ring finger and his pinky were burnt, he was able to use them for chords, but that's all.

@kranen1 yeah, i know. i don't really like sweep picking 'though i'm able to do it.
yeah, but jango reinhart for exanple swept during the 2nd world war ;)
and he used arpeggios, not the normal ones, he used jazz arpeggios, but i guess a 7, 9, 11, or 13th arpeggio is harder to do than a normal 1 3 5 ;)
Yeah, i know that Focus' guitarist was kinda slopy. Nontheless, he swept also an arpeggio.
