http://3greenwheels.blogspot.com/ - Uploaded this video to use on my blog about 3 wheel green vehicles.
For more information visit the official webpage. With two wheels on front and one behind, SAM is a Swiss award-winning and patented Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) of a new generation designed and developed by Cree Ltd. Totally electric and capable of carrying 2 people. The batteries delay 1 hour to charge 40% and 6 hours for a full charge. It has an autonomy of 50 - 70 km and 85 top speed. It can accelerate from 0 to 50 km/h in 7 seconds. It will cost around 6600 euros. It does not have surprising performances, but perhaps it has everything we need to drive in the city.

  • Great concept. I think most people on here are missing the point. In countries such as China and India this is what they need...fast! Cheap to build and repair. More useful than a bicycle, safer and more user friendly than a motorbike. Anyone could drive it.

  • Amazing! It's like a "Messerschmitts" bubblecar.....

  • great job !!!

  • The video illustrates the problem with electric cars though.. Too little range. See how he had to get into a second one to finish the trip? lol

  • Get rid of the crappy music, and tell us about the damn thing!

  • @iciavosser Hmm, wondow?, hange?, stero? could it be (window, hang, stereo), just curious.

  • @kdc43 Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion car had rear wheel steering (on one wheel) rather than the two front wheels like this machine. There are videos on YouTube if you search 'Dymaxion'. Additionally there are plenty of recumbent cycles (tricycles) which have a similar setup as this vehicle although of course human powered. The beauty in this vehicle is that you would stay dry when it rains, it would be great fun to drive and I'm certain it would be economical to run.

  • @amistosa2007

I wish what you said about China is true, but I don't think we've gone that far.

  • Looks nice. What happened to your 3 GREEN WHEELS blog site? Seems to be in a state of disrepair (a bit like the Fly the Wind debacle? Sorry -- but that disappointed a lot of folks).
