  • Yes, understandable and absolutely right I think

  • @rbts001 Hi, Thanks for your comments. It certainly makes sense to me and after 30 years of providing career guidance, I haven't yet found a better model.

    Best regards,

    Darryl

  • Thank you for posting this video. It is extremely helpful.

  • @anthonykfrancis Hi, Sorry I missed your comment some time back now. Glad that you found the model helpful. It's what I have devised over time -- I know that it's simple, but it works! Best regards, Darryl

  • Thanks for your comments.

Not sure what you mean though by "what's out there for the things that you're interested in." In Australia for example, the govt produces the "Job Guide" which gives you jobs under 7 different interest categories. So if you know what you like, you can then peruse the jobs in your area of interest.

Type in "Job Guide 2010" into Google and you'll find it.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers, Darryl

  • THANKS for keeping it simple, clear and getting right to the point.

  • Thanks for taking the time to comment. Most things in life I find are simple -- we just have a habit of making it more complicated than it ought to be.

All the best in your career journey,

    Darryl

  • It is my nature to be skeptical and critical of things. Maybe that is why I am slow and can't listen to people rambling fast enough. But I liked your video since I believed it is important to have an advisor on behaviors of people who have great responsibilities.

    Hi,

I feel like a born loser a lot of the time, but I know that is just my negative thoughts coming through.

I don't know you, but I am sure you are not a loser, but just on a journey to find your perfect job. Not all of us know what we want to do, or what we are good at, from a young age (me included). I'm gonna try and follow the Dr's plan and not care what other people think of me. Easier said than done, but you have to start somewhere. I may miss out on life otherwise.

  • i've been changing 17 jobs in 13 years and finally realized i am a born loser unable to adapt in any circumstances. shit !

  • Hi I just watched your video and I must say it was helpful. I know what kind of person I am and what I like to do but its been so hard for me to choose a career mainly because I think I really don't know what's out there for the things that interested in. Please help
