George Harrison worked on the song with Starr; perhaps out of solidarity as his own songs were often dismissed by John Lennon and Paul McCartney.[1] Harrison commented: "'Octopus's Garden' is Ringo's song. It's only the second song Ringo has ever written, mind you, and it's lovely." Harrison added that the song gets very deep into your consciousness "because it's so peaceful. I suppose Ringo is writing cosmic songs these days without even realising it."

2 of my nieces look like ringo and they refuse to talk to me since I asked the younger one to play drums in my band 20 years ago.
He was the biggest star of the 60's and the best most talented and gearest drummer ever.
My freind rang strawberry fields OAP home to find out if Richard had a scar under his left eye. They werent very helpful.
I wrote him in September 2008. cant wait for the little cutie to write me back.
