Her reaction is so frickin' cute!! I love her! And I think that the composer for a classic comedy series would probably want to be remembered with a laugh or two. Some of the commenters need to lighten up a bit.

i hate it when innocent things sound really bad when read aloud. i feel bad for her--she didn't realize how terrible it sounded until she read it aloud. GAH!

I can't believe people are having a negative reaction to this. She wrote something that she thought sounded clever (writing for tv is HARD!) and when she said it, it just struck her as kind of lame and she laughed! It was funny! If it had been a member of my family who had died, I'd have STILL thought it was funny! Cuz..it was funny! Folks need to lighten up, for pete's sake!
