Two Days In The Machloop - Video and Slideshow (HD)

First and foremost, don't worry about the start, there is no music over the video sections!
Filmed on the 8th October and photographed on the 7th and 8th, my first visit to the Machloop was a little quiet, but also a great success. Wednesday saw quite a few Hawks and a couple of Tornados and Thursday blessed us with a couple of F15's (putting in a bit of a show), two Typhoons, a lone Harrier and a few Hawks.
I only wish I'd have been up the hill an hour earlier for the Herc that flew straight over me when I was driving out of Dinas Mawddwy!
I'd never filmed or photographed any kind of aircraft and so felt that the Machloop was the best place to start...............and I'll definately be back next summer to explore all the way around to Corris Corner.

I witnessed something similar up at greymares tails in Scotland! Amazing when you can see the tops off these planes!! Does anyone know if you can somewhere in yorkshire to see something similar?

Was the Tornado GR4 actualy in the vid because it was on the pics? oh and great pics.

@thelittlejacob1 The Tornados appeared on the first day. I was a good hour away from my car (where my AA batteries for the Zi6 video camera were), so I didn't bother climbing back down for them!

North Wales. The machloop is part of LFA7, a low flight training area used by the RAF and USAF.
