The scope of problems facing not only the USA but countries around the world are monumental. In the last 50 years or so much of what made countries great and fueled prosperity has changed.
For developed countries like the USA the loss of middle-class manufacturing jobs has lead to a new reality, 1% of the people control the wealth and the rest are loosing ground. Young people especially are being impacted with many having to live home for longer, staying in school as jobs are scarce but also the 'Baby Boomers' are feeling it.
Having to work longer, less money to live on leads to a hopeless feeling. Things are bad all over and with political parties, politicians playing power games, creating division, for which there is no end in sight, the prospect for the future is not a double dip recession but the 'D' word that no one seems to mention.
Depression of the global economies.

  • Obama is killing the country. We can take care of our selves. All we need to do is get rid of Obama and the suppressive government and just like in the 80's we will have jobs again. "Government is not the solution, government is the problem" Ronald Reagan

  • @NorCalExplorer we met a lot of people who voted for Obama last time but were not happy with his administration, policy and governance. .

  • Maravilha estes carros e as suas rodovias, são fantásticas. O problema de desemprego em todo lugar há.

  • @milabluelady Desemprego no Brasil? Nós ouvimos que o Brasil tem uma economia forte, talvez seja só para os ricos?

  • @kyril6 same amount of greedy people here as anywhere else. And our Government is just as corrupt as North Korea, China, Iraq, Iran, you name it all power is corrupt so you have to knock it down every so often and remind them they are not so powerful. Its about that time.

  • The bankers ruined economy by giving risky loans because of lack of government regulation which i am sure Bush had no role to play in and the trillions spent on wars leaving huge deficit. Clinton left office in surplus. Now the republicans say spending and government is the problem. They should tell that to Bush. Why not fire some of their own people and keep their word first? . The depression got worse when spending stopped. Easy to blame Obama.

  • This presentation is a wonderful example of why you shouldn't send your kids to public school.

Nancy Pelosi is spending Christmas in Hawaii, in a $10,000 a night suite in Kona. That's $10,000 a night -- you read that right. That's the same Nancy Pelosi who demanded a private Air Force jet to commute across country at her back and call. It's time to let California go into bankruptcy. Maybe then they will take their citizenship seriously.

  • one person cannot possibly be the reason for a global depression!
