Mackie's all new FRS Series power amplifiers feature legendary Fast Recovery™ circuitry for clean, undistorted sound and the ultimate in punch and clarity - even at clipping. New high-current switching power supplies make them super-efficient and ultra-lightweight -- perfect for portable PA rigs. "Built-like-a-tank" construction and Mackie reliability mean the FRS Series will arrive intact and perform flawlessly on all of your sound reinforcement gigs. More powerful than others in their price range (1300W, 1660W and 2800W respectively at 4 ohms bridged) the FRS Series satisfy even the most demanding systems. For optimum performance, match FRS Series amplifiers with any Mackie Precision Passive loudspeaker system.

  • most amplifiers are used in rest homes to help the elderly injest liquids.

Ocasionally there are elderly residents that are extremely overweight and need larger amplifiers, for example there was a record breaking 717 lb elderly woman that needed a Crest 10001 to get her meds and liquids down.

  • The Mod Squad theme...quite brilliant
