Nice song!! As a western audience I understand why the over the top gestures and exaggerated dancing looks kinda fun, add also the buffalaxed lyrics and you got one hell of a funny show!!
(Gotta admit this has made me laugh more than once)

in this movie, Benny Lava (as he's known to u guys huh) is in secret love with a rich rich girl while he's a poor fisherman before tsunami :) his friends kinda sing a song to God indicating his love for the gal while Mr. Lava is in denial mode tthe whole song
