Political and media satire on a low budget. This short was an appropriation piece made for my video art course. Justin Rowell plays the embodiment of a true patriot who sees his country gone bad through the media's use of violence and scare tactics in its attempt to help conform a more submissive society.
He mourns the loss of his country's real values, and the original ideals the medium of television stood for: Hope and real communication - a device meant to bring us closer together.
