Notorious Smooth, Earth to Man

I want to apologize first off for the sound quality. This was kindly recorded on my friends little camera that isn't capable of recording loud audio signals so there's alot of clipping.We will get better video/audio in the future. These are 2 songs of mine played live. My bass player Rochelle and I sat in with the Monday nite jam band at the Loading Zone last week. The band is outstanding. For this we just borrowed their drummer, Brian. He doesn't know our material but always does an amazing job.

The Earth when it rains
smells like an alive thing,
A wet, living being when it rains.
The grass and the soil smell
the wind in the trees
like the head of a young boy running free-
The magnitude, the wonderful truth of
this living ball of stuff we build onto;
We cut things off of- impale things into
and scorch and burn and maim and abuse-
Poor ball never had a chance
Since God gave Earth to man (Earth to man!)
The sun when it shines
keeps us alive
We're one with the sun and the rain.
The Earth as it moves
Gravity proves
We're sisters and brothers on our home
We drink it dry, consume it's bounty
Pollute with poisons, corrupt it's beauty
We cut things off of
Impale things into
and wars will burn and maim beyond use
There's still a chance to make a plan
Since God gave Earth to man (Earth to man)

Thank you so much, Eve! I've got several more I need to record and eventually publish maybe.. I'm in Montana (WAY far away) but I've always wanted to go to NY. It's beautiful here but it gets SOO cold and it's always nice to leave. (lol) and come back.
