Is fear of death part of your anxiety or panic condition? I talk about this seemingly common element of anxiety disorders.

My usual disclaimer: Seth Herbey nor Herbey Productions will be held liable for any advice given in these videos. Seth Herbey is not a medical or mental health professional or a therapist in any way and his only background is from personal experience having an anxiety disorder.

  • When I'm have panic/ anxiety attacks, they are generally based completely on the fear of dying. I was raised catholic, but never agreed with the church on multiple things. For one, my church believed that homosexuals went to hell. Which bothers me, because I am a pansexual female, which means in simple terms, that I love someone purely for personality, nothing more, nothing less. I am currently very happy with a girlfriend. Now, people say that god made all humans, so if that's true, than god m

  • i have a massive fear of dying dont like the thought lying in a coffin on my own no one to comfort me i wish we knew what is there and hope you have feelingand sensation when we die

  • @SimeraJamilla That should be the exciting part.. that at any moment it CAN be gone... it's precious.

  • It controls every aspect of my life...

  • It came to the point that i don't even exercise anymore because of that fear (the elevated bpm freak me out), even though i took every exam possible, and consulted a whole lot of doctors (4 cardiologist, for e.g.) and i'm healthy as i can be.

It even overtook my initial fears and anxiety.

    Well: IT SUCKS!!!

  • I've always had fear of heights, and flying, but since i started to have panic and anxiety, i began obsessing about the thought of death. Not just any kind of death, but a sudden one. I always have a feeling of impending doom, a heart attack, a stroke, an embolism. That sort of stuff.

  • @TheJaredlrice the idea of losing consciousness and not interacting with the living terrify me too. but there is hope. scientists have recently done serious research and much evidence is being surfaced that the idea of life after death may not be as illogical as we think it is.
