Avery Brooks discusses his career in the theater, from playing roles in King Lear and Othello to founding Psuekay, an African American theater troupe he built during his time at Oberlin.

  • Avery Brooks has been in Othello and the Oedipus Trilogy.

    I am quite sad that there is apparently no video of those performances. I would have loved to have seen him in both those roles.
