@916edward No where near as bad as the CHP cop that raped and murdered the woman that he pulled over for speeding. It took the FBI to bring him down. Don't they have an Internal Affairs Department? Other law enforcement agencies do. I think that it's high time that they have one as well.

What a bunch of idiots....Greed and stupidity at it's worst. These bozos make over 100K a year, and have not suffered ANY of the cuts laid onto all the other state workforce. I hope this idiot gets the max sentence for his crimes. I like how the retired CHP says they are held to a higher standard...NOT They are held to a different standard than the general public...They usually get preferential treatment in these situations. Major loser.

Wow, they are overpaid. In my area, a Canton, IL officer escaped punishment in a theft case (from WalMart) when the case was dropped.
