Motorcycles at Portland Intl. Raceway

June 25, 2010 at Portland Intl. Raceway. I rode with Cascade Tracktime in group 2. Their format is 30 minute sessions every hour, two groups alternating. Group 1 is level A and A+ (mostly racers) and group 2 is level's C and B. Here's some footage from my fourth session of the day. Lots of lap traffic and practice passing!

they dont now, but my 98 did. look up the specs or find a pic of an older frame and look at the welds, 100% steel, but same shape as aluminum frames.

@kawi21 Yes... I stand corrected. All the while I thought my frame was aluminum. But, it is steel. No wonder it's a porky bike.

I had a 98' yzf600r then went to an 03' zx6r. The yzf would have smoked the zx off the line and out of every turn. They r great bikes and quite comfy with the steel frame.
