Davy proposed that the electromagnetic "fluid" extended beyond earth's atmosphere, and downward into earth; This was an important theory that Schelling took up in his own theory of organism. As you wish, myths of sunspot cows could be extended to philosophic terrain via Schelling. "Schelling Now" has a good essay by Martin Wallen on the validation Schelling found in unifying poles of forces in electromagnetism as a model for the metaphysics of primordial nature.

John, Schelling was fascinated with the physics of Hans Christian Oersted and Humphrey Davy, who worked with theories of an "electromagnetic fluid" in which chemical bonds occurred. Schelling considered it an animating force underlying animate and inanimate matter. They set the ground work for Tesla. Schelling's work would be compatible with Astrotometry as part of the philosophical imagination since Plato.
