I Am Sorry [For Your Loss] is a video-performance of the prescribed rites of sympathy. By performing these rites through universal physical gestures, it is our attempt to reach beyond language and cultural barriers, as well as religio-political and socio-economic boundaries. This is our attempt to express our empathy to all people in the world who have lost family, friends and neighbors to recent conflicts and disasters.
