I've been doing restoration 20 years and immediately saw that video staging! You throw and you see it! I am not against modern technology but good old Chevrolet Frame just ripped a one-time, this new Malibu! Metal used to be a much stronger frame and do not punch. And people were dying in them from what they could not as modern bucket gently bend. And people simply broke his ribs and head of the rudder and the panel. But this video is ridiculous for any master ....

Yeah, the tin can Bel Air really is a hard match for every modern designed car. Lol.

Yeah, plastic that crumples like steel. Cool story.

i wish that the bel air was as save as the malibu

The other crash test was done under completely different circumstances and with different cars, so your comment is pointless. Crash test with overlap like this is far harder to pass than a full frontal crash. The construction of the Bel Air ins't designed to pass such a crash. For the malibu's construction the Bel Air is no match.

You just look at new cars when they hit a tree side-on and just disintergrate

All this proves is that older cars were not as safe as modern cars, you have proven nothing that was'nt already know, idiots!!

You fuckin dumb old people always talking about how strong a classic car is because its made out of strong metal and then you guys talk crap about these plastic made cars doing so bad in a crash. That plastic car did way better than your strong metal car.
I'd rather die in a cool Bel Air...
