How did you put the rat in a video?

@IamZead He was animated in Adobe Flash, exported as a PNG sequence with alpha channel, and the resulting video clip was placed on a layer above the HD stock video footage in Final Cut Pro X. But can you figure out how we made the lens flare from the stock footage cover the rat as well? :D
