The day before classes began, NMSU hosted a series of events inside Corbett Center Student Union. Activities included Carnival Night at Taos Restaurant (featuring hotdogs, pretzels and cotton candy), an Apple/iPod DJ Party in the Aggie Underground, a free screening of the movie, I LOVE YOU, MAN, in the Corbett Center Auditorium and a Pool Tournament in Pete's Place. In addition, Coca-Cola gave out free samples of one of their beverages, KRUX 91.5 FM provided music and ASNMSU had an info table.
