I also was lucky enough to see Norton back in the late 70s at a day on the green at Humboldt State University and they were great! They played with Eddie Money, and I think Santana or Pablo Cruise. Such sad news. RIP Norton

I had never heard of NB until one Saturday night, when my ex and I were looking for something on TV. Looked in the guide and saw "NB and the Stampede" were on Austin City Limits. We thought the name was so hokey that we just had to check it out...and I was dumbfounded. What a talent, what a band! Went out and bought all the NB&TS albums I could find. All two of them.
Damned shame. RIP Norton.
"Maybe we can stay.....another day."

Just now heard about Norton Buffalo's passing. Could have gone another couple of decades without this news. What an incredible musician; what an incredible loss.
