this is not even remotely funny. and I do have a sense of humor. alicia didn't cost the US the gold. Even if she did better than she did in prelims they still would've gotten silver. plus 99% of people in the world can't even do what she does so give her a break. Shes not a superhuman but she an unbelievable athlete.

To all the people who think that Alicia Sacramonoe cost the USA the gold. People China's score was 188.900 and USA's score was 186.525. Each fall was a 0.8 deduction so Alicia's two falls were 1.6 deductions for team USA and with her step out of bounds it was 1.7. 186.525 + 1.700 = 188,325 which would still put USA in 2nd position. Get over it!

Very insensitive. Alicia is the most passionate gymnast that the US team has ever had. She is the epitome of "team spirit".

Oh come on! how many people can tuble on a 10cm beam? She is able to do things that most people can't even dream of! She is amazing an olympic gymnast, she has won lots of medals, golds included and she is one of the best vaulters in the world. She had a really bad day at Bejiin and I'm sure she feels awful about it, but despite that she made a comeback and she' s now training for 2012. She is not just a great gymnast, she is what gymnastics is about: guts, determination, power and courage!

Anybody with any brains knew after Alicia fell in that pond that she was going to fuck up the U.S. team if they let her on it. Maybe they should have let her take the stick with her to Beijing.
