This is a snippet taken from one of the several video montages in this Hardcore Street Documentary detailing the life of active gangmembers in LA. Members of the Rollin 40's,60's, 4Deuce & Trey Gangsta's, Black P Stone, 107 HGC, 66East Coast Crips, and Inglewood Families to name a few, talk about why they joined the gang life and what its been like.
Why We Bang is the first and only in-depth look into Gang Culture told from the perspective of the people who live it and who are directly affected by it. Its as if you were in the middle of South Central, talking and walking with real gang members first hand.

dude, this has nothing to do w/ race. it's about poverty. when a group of ppl become impoverished, as the ppl in the american ghettos are, they have nothing to lose. there are gang members from all races but because blacks make up the majority of our poor so too they make up the majority of our criminals.

if the government wants to fix our gang problems we need to fix the root of the problem, poverty. we need to stop shipping jobs over seas, pay ppl a livable wage, and break up the monopolies.

people think La is crazy and all that no you WRONG the county of san bernardino has citys that can top LA i know for a fact thah Fontana and san bernardino are just like LA but have a lil more stuff into it.
