For all the dumb asses who question the disaster, I'll point out two facts. First, it is ILLEGAL as hell to lift anyone up on a skid; one must be in a cage. Second, chick was driving tractor first while NOT bothering to always look back. While I've been in warehousing for only 5 years, I've seen some ugly shit as a result of horseplay. As a shipper/reciever. I take saftey most seriously.

Those forklifts are so heavy and powerful. A real tool when you are experianced, but bad news for you when you are not.

Unloading mixed freight 52' trailers almost requires you hop on the forks, or climb on product. You'll be there for hours if you don't. Though I suppose goofy teenage girls aren't really the same thing.

@xxironballzxx yeah very common for warehouse workers to do this, i've known a bunch who didn't even use a pallet and just stood on the forks, even letting the driver drive around extended up in the air. (isn't that why they invented the order picker)

everyone thinks it's no big deal until someone ends up in the hospital. i worked at home depot and everyone complained about the excessively redundant safety rules but whenever someone got hurt it was always from breaking the safety rules.

standing on a pallet lifted by a forklift is illegal just as standing on the forks to get lifted onto a truck is illegal but we did it all the time at my former shop. we never did anything as stupid as these girls did, but we did have pallet jack races PRETTY UNSAFE. Just saying when the bosses are away the young people will play.
