Numbers Station Lincolnshire Poacher hidden behind Voice of Korea in SSB.

Lincolnshire Poacher is able to be listened only in USB while hiding in LSB.

Numbers stations are shortwave radio stations of uncertain origin. They generally broadcast voices reading streams of numbers, words, letters (sometimes using a spelling alphabet), tunes or Morse code.

  • I have a feeling that one of these numbers stations will play on a regular radio broadcast (like a music station) and then all the tornado and attack sirens in the US will go off and then an uncertain attack will happen. It's a scary scenario, really. I hope it never happens.

  • @Subskil I believe its created via the Voice Synthesizer they use.

  • I would like to know how they do that sounds, is that a recorded melody? is that a MIDI? I dont know if you understand what im asking.

  • It started to get good near the end with the demonic sounding version of the song.

  • I think the Korean interval signal is "Song of General Kim Il Sung" or Kim Jong Il.

  • that or up to date satalite signals XD

  • A Number Station is a shortwave radio station that transmits a random sequence of numbers followed by a tune ( like the Lincolnshire Poacher)

they where used to communicated with spies in foreign countries. The governments of the world say they don't exist but yet it is illegal to listen to or even record them.

  • This is well documented, the LP starts it's number station broadcast and at the time North Korea were using the same frequency. Nicely captured btw.

  • I was in NE USA listinig to somewhere around 6.3 mhz at around 10pm id say on 5/13/09 and some pirate radio station was on called "Cracker Radio" it was AWSOME this guy was bullshitting about microbrewing beer, packing bowls and other BS then the signal dissapeared.
