Running a drag line.mpg

Running Dirty Dicks old Northwest drag line. I was running it with a short drag cable and I could not cast the out bucket any longer. I love running this old thing.

This video was taken a few years ago. You are correct we changed the air, fuel filters after this video and it ran much better. It did have a bad injector. Dick did junk it out 2 years ago. I think Dick kept the bucket from it.

I think you have a Model 41 N/W . I was a murphy diesel mechanic for years. It need a good tune up. Sounds like 1 injector is out of rack. They woulg once in a great while strip teeth. I'm restoring one to show. It's a murphy model 12 outof a 25 n/w. also you could check and see if the air cleaner is pluged up it should not smok like that It will cause it to burn a hole in the piston. check out gravelyjim on youtube I have some videos.
