Believe it or not, as long as he's fed and given adequate space and respect he shouldn't be too much trouble for the family.
I would like to see him in the wild, but it is almost a certainty that he will need to be cared for for the rest of his life because of his interactions with humans at an early age. Unfortunately, that care will most likely need to be in a zoo or other institution if the family is unable to demonstrate that they can give him the quality of care necessary.

@MrRiggyRiggs Yeah, that does become a problem.

Really cute right now but how will they handle him when he is full grown? Even playing he will be so big and it's inevitable that he will hurt one of them. Take a close look at a full grown bears claws! Watch bears in the wild. They can be quite rough with each other and this little guy has no idea that he is different from humans. I do think it's nice they cared enough to help him but wonder if they thought past how cute he is right now.

nothing is cuter than Brutus the bear, he's a full grown grizzly, and he loves hugs

@chickensaurusrex711 not true, that bear could be just plying with a human, and end up breaking his neck, not out of viciousness but instinct. Wild animals have a wild instinct that does not go away with being raised by humans. It takes generation to breed it out of them, ex. Wolves to dogs, that didnt happen overnight.

@MrRiggyRiggs this animal will not be wild anymore.
it looks like he's been reared by his new owner already and once he grows to adult size he won't be attacking them. animals know what you do for them and in turn appreciate it and you, you can see this kind of behavior in lion parks of Africa where lions get reared a young cubs and are extremely friendly to humans.
oh its all fuzy and cute until they grow up and eat you

I love when animals (wild ones) are babies, they just want to play, when they get older there native wildness kicks in and you just cant do those things anymore, too cute
