We are still in the middle of an unpredictable financial crisis far outside the experience of anyone working today. The crisis has dramatically affected the four major economic groups, creating half dead, half alive zombies: banks, governments, companies and consumers. These groups have lost their ability to function normally. Our book 'The zombie economy' discusses these groups and the challenges that they present. It outlines some uncomfortable actions that business leaders need to take to survive.
London's tube has been full of Zombies for years! In all seriousness, this has provided me with some food for thought, my organisation has been hit hard in the recession and we really need to take control of our 'Zombies' to position ourselves for future growth. Oh and great piece in The Times yesterday, the article certainly rings true with me.
