pancake coil only 86 turns

its a pancake coil with only 86 turns of phone wire 9,000 volt neon sign transformer primary 2 turns arc length about 2 inches the low performance problem is the due to the leyden jar im using im sure witha descent capacitor the spark length would dramatically increase the secondary coil was wound on top of a planters thing i used tack glue to hold the coil down while winding it or else it would have been impossible to wind it like that i would have had to use paper interleaves and i used elmers white glue to insulate it which works great

this was done at very low power levels witha leyden jar at 0.0005 mfd not nearly enough capacitance power source is an ignition coil driven by a light dimmer
