Followed the procedure as laid out in the video and my SS Evolution stock came out beautiful. (Sky Laminate) Everywhere I take it people stop, stare, and want to hold it. Usually they are intrigued by the SS Evolutions uniqe shape, but they soon compliment me on the finish. Thanks for the great tutorial! I've got a video on my channel of me shooting my finished SS Evolution Ruger 10/22.

@BALIJABOY Hello, thanks for asking; it's never a bad idea to glass bed your stock, it will give you the best accuracy.

Nothing but respect for Boyd's... I read a story recently about the M1 Garand Stock they made for Darrel "Shifty" Powers (of Band of Brother's Fame). The Garand Stock had the Airborne emblem, Curahee Crest, etc engraved into it. A very well-thought idea and certainly worthy of praise. Google "a rifle for Shifty" to see the whole story. I just finished refinishing a stock for a ww2 Trench Gun. I cheated a bit and used red oak stain and 2 coats of Linseed oil (matches my Garand exactly)
