Head of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad dies

The head of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, Metropolitan Laurus of New York, has died aged 80. Born in Czechoslovakia, he has lived in New York since the 1940s. Perhaps his greatest achievement -- reuniting with Russian Orthodox Church -- occurred just last year.
