Morden's story is kind of sad. His wife and daughter were killed in a terrorist attack on the jump gate at Io. He old sided with the shadows because they promised that they would end his wife and daughter's suffering if he did. The shadows tricked him into thinking that they were in eternal pain, and that the shadows could save them. Sheds a whole new light on his character.

Londo got his "Renaissance of Power" for the Centauri, albeit at a high price that almost destryed his homeworld!
G'Kar got what he wanted: the destruction of Centauri Prime, which was done by certain members of the Alliance in series 5 under the machinations of the Drakh!

I always liked Vir Cotto's rebuttal:
"What do I want? I want to live just long enough to be there when they cut your head off and stick it on a pike, as a warning to the next ten generations that some favors come with too high a price.
