ZIEMIA - samba (instrumental demo 1997)

ZIEMIA - the band formed by Qba and Raval in early '90s in Poland. Getting out of the simple, noisy playing, with time, the pieces of ZIEMIA were enriched by the free jazz saxophone and keyboard. In the lyrics, beside the standard comments on our reality there has appeared also the lyrics which were result of the spiritual interests of ZIEMIA's members. For a moment the band was playing with the six musicans, with the additional percussions instruments. Next ZIEMIA band was rereduced to the basic duet and finally the group stopped experiment. The later attemptes of the resuscitation didn't bring any expected results. Qba has emigrated to UK because of the general social and political situation in Poland. The lulled ZIEMIA - this is still the unfinished history.
