  • An electrolyser cell should never be run at more than two volts. You can run all the amperage it will handle but you lose all your efficiency after two volts. The following website covers everything you would ever want to know about electrolysers.

    dubya, dubya, dubya (dot)waterfuelcell (dot)org/WFCprojects/Tero/series_cell_v1.2.pdf

  • thanks a ton i appreciate it much i have been tryin to get er right and all up to date but it's been slow lackin cash almost need another job just for my hho machine lol

  • put a loop with water in the hose

  • i'm gonna also do that it's a good idea a second bubbler would also do me some good i'm working on getting the supplies for that now my one way duckbill valve and my flashback arrestor i found on ebay for 15dollars i should be plenty safe

  • @canamm thanx, time to get more stuff and try it out. i am also thinking of using a pole switcher and if i get it timed correctly, production should be much higer. i used 110 volts dc, i noticed that if i switched the positve and negative leads every few seconds, tehre were hardly any bubbles, yet a grille lighter in the tube, and when i lit it, there was an explosion just above the water. if the poles remained constand, very little HHO from plain water, gonna try this with the clamshell too.

  • @MacGyver0076 Actually a 7 unit assembly wired in series. You want your voltage below 2V per cell. The website I left here the last time has changed but you can still get a lot of info from waterfuelcell(dot)org or go to wikipedia(dot)org and search "water electrolysis".

  • @canamm so what you are syaing is make a 6-unit clamshell in series for a 12 volt battery?

  • You know you not allowed to have matches, then you went away, this does not work, you will be allowed to work on your experiments when you return to the Hospice.Come back to the hospital.Ha

  • What are you using for your plates, how are you separating them? What is the spacing between plates? Is there enough distance in your bubbler for the bubbles to travel where they don't have a chance to connect and cause flashback ? Also: I use only 1/2 tsp of sodium hydroxide per gal. (1 liter per minute output).Definately using too much.Plate spacing at 1/32nds, using wall gang blank plates (302 ss)(17, pos,nu,neg,nu, etc)No electrolyte needed AT ALL!!)On dc. I'll be waiting for your response.

  • try 14 vdc or battery charger at 10 or 20 amp setting

    Try dc

  • hell yah

  • r u running a bubbler befor the outlet?
