@Minifourteener i let a guy test it out and he didn't cheap the ammo before he loaded it. i usually inspect the white box ammo before i load them. i guess he was so happy to fire his first semi-auto and didn't notice it. other than that it is an awesome firearm. i trust it with my life.

@Minifourteener i went with the AE223, $160(incl shipping) for 520 with two free dry boxes. i will try the wpa later since it is very cheap at $187 for 1000 rounds. but i have a question 44mag . com DnH or pmags? i can get 4 DnH including shipping for the price of 3 pmags free shipping. metal teflon looks cooler but i know the pmags are the best out there. any opinions on it? oh you decided to pick up the SR9c, i love my SR9 no issues besides one really bad ammo that was deformed.

wassup mini14er. i just bought a model 1 and i am curious if i should use the new WPA wolf ammo? i have 7 days left to wait until i can take the rifle home and i really want to test the sucker out. 500/$110 shipped for WPA, or should i pay a little more for AE223 - PMC bronze target - silver bear. all about .31 a pop.

Honestly, just about all the steel-cased ammo Russian import stuff is OK to shoot. I routinely shoot Wolf or Brown Bear with the Mini-14. I tend to stick with the brass-cased stuff in my ARs only because of the inherently weak design in the extractor. That having been said, I don't avoid steel-cased in my Stag--and it has never jammed.

@Minifourteener well since you said it's OK stuff, im going to take your word for it and try the WPA. after purchasing an SR9, a 10/22 and customizing it, than now an AR im kind of on a serious bugdet (3 firearms in 4 months). be back in a week to tell you how it went.

Cool--thanks for the endorsement. Just keep that carrier lubed and it should do fine. I just picked up an SR9c--I thinks it's a real nice pistol.
