  • how did you focus if its too dark? The camera will have a hard time to focus if its too dark....

  • @eyare30 Mark pre-focused before we turned the lights off!

  • Fantastic video. I learned a LOT!! Thanks!

  • Amazing video! I only have one question, how did you get a black/grey image when you shot the model without using the strobe light at first. I know it was slow shutter speed and low ambient light, but it wasn't total darkness for the sensor to capture nothing. I hope I explained myself correctly.

    Again many thanks Mark!

  • what is that box that the speedlight is connected to? is that a UPS?

  • Excellent Videos!!! I feel like I am getting smarter and smarter since I started watching Mark's video :-)

How can I achieve the same with Speedlight (SB-800)? How can I change the flash duration on SB-800?

  • @lorikzzz: Are you referring to the fact that the pictures are sharp despite the movement and low shutter speed? The reason for that is the only image that the sensor gets is the instant where there is lighting of any sort in the studio, which is the instant where the flash fires. The rest of the 1/2 second doesn't matter, there's no light coming to the sensor anyway.

  • the end of this video was too cool and too advanced. have to keep that in mind!

  • @adoramaTV but the girl was moving !!
