Young Julia's mother(seated on Julia's left) has been identified as "Kathleen Manning Hall" of Malden Massachusetts, and was bused in with most of the Astroturfers allowed through the doors of Obama's nationally televised Kabuki theater.

She was a coordinator of the "Massachusetts Women for Obama" fundraising campaign during the '08 election, and had previously met First Lady Michelle Obama, the Obama daughters Sasha and Malia, and Vice President Joe Biden while taking part in Obama's 'grassroots' presidential campaign.

The question opened the door for the president to respond to what he called an "underlying fear'' among the public "that people somehow won't get the care they need.''

The girl later told the Boston Globe that being picked by Obama was "incredible."

"It was like a once in a lifetime experience," she said.

I wanna rephrase your first sentence. The little girl read a question she barely understood or could even remember from a cue card after looking right into th camera, not at the man to whom she was "conversing" with, held for applause, and did her mother's duty.

I really hope there aren't any adults saying nasty things about the girl, I can't imagine her having a choice. She probably wanted to go see a film or something that day.
