finally, a guy on youtube who respects the fact many players are tired of a trillion "beginner" vids
cool lesson 5/5

Its a tutorial and a master piece at that. Its got some stuff in here some players never even thought of. "Less is more" style is good for certain genres and styles of music but this shows that the slap bass is capable of so much more..

instantly liked!...thanks a lot for this comprehensive lesson in advanced slapping =)....ive been looking everywhere for something like this...ive already more or less got the basics of slap down...but i was stuck in a pattern rut...i kept playing the same slap/pop sounds but at different tempos...and i wasnt sure where to go from there...thanks for the new perspective!

@bladesaint21 ... Strongly agreed!!..Overall best "Silent" tutorial that teaches the most of nearly everything the bass can do in a single lesson! Any one of the 5 elements in this clip is a lesson in its self, and we get 5!!.

Wow. Someone who actually knows hot to make a LESSON video! I can actually follow along. Most videos I see where I want to learnt he technique, the person is just ripping through it, and cannot speak. This guy doe no need to talk. He simply repeats, uses hand gestures, and works the lick at different speeds. NOT to mention changing the angle of his bass so you can see it at different angles. A true teacher here.

Thank you very much... I actually learn more from your 2 minute lessons than my 1 hour lessons at skool!!!!
I see so many good riffs like this one in tutorials on youtube and it's always so tempting to steal them and use them as my own... But that, of course, would be really lame.

LOL. I use some of my riffs in my band, so they are in use :-)
