A teaser trailer I made for a Carnivàle movie, based on the television series by HBO, which would hopefully answer all the questions fans were left with when the series was cancelled after season 2.

I am thinking of creating a theatrical trailer in the near future, if people like this teaser enough.

I like this show immensely. It's a shame it was canceled. But the fact is, most people couldn't stand it (don't ask me why). I tried making every one of my close friends watch this. Everyone loathed it and blamed me for making them watch such a "confusing" and "boring" show. They returned the DVDs to Blockbuster and switched it for Smallville seasons 4 and 5 instead....sigh...

I know what you mean. Some of my friends accepted it, and loved it, but some couldn't stand it. Many people today can only watch shows like Smallville because they don't like not having all the info about the show right away. If there's even the slightest bit of mystery about a plot, they don't like it because they want all the action and story from the start so they don't have to think; just stare blankly and be amused.

lol my heart skipped a beat when I saw the headline for this....the bigwigs at HBO should be brought up for crimes against humanity for cutting the show without any kind of closure for fans

keep in mind, not a lot happens in each episode, or since the first few.

I mean if you watch game of thrones, you know if you miss one episode, you are fucked for the rest of the series

CARNIVALE was too risque for most who don't want to conceive of a corrupt preacher making dirty deals with politicians and committing horrible acts like rape and torture,,,no not very realistic at all...I loved the show because it had believable characters, great dialogue, and mystery and magic.
