Israeli security forces have forcibily evicted Palestinian families from a contested East Jerusalem neighbourhood. As a result to todays evictions 20 children have become homeless.

Ultra-orthodox jews helped police in carrying out furniture to the street and moving in their own furniture.The families have lived in Sheikh Jarrah since 1956 but an Israeli court ruled that the homes belonged to Je More..wish families.

Todays evictions has been condemned by EU and British authorities.
